Terms & Conditions

Effective date: June 6, 2026

These Terms govern your use of the websites, hosting, development services, and client portal provided by Suncoast Technology ("Suncoast," "we," "us"). By using our services or the portal, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Suncoast provides website design, development, hosting, ongoing maintenance, and a client portal for managing your site, invoices, contracts, and support requests. Specific deliverables, timelines, and scope are defined in your project agreement or retainer plan.

2. Accounts & access

Portal access is provided for your business. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at info@suncoast.technology if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Billing & payment

4. Ownership of your work

You own it. Upon full payment for a project, the final deliverables we create specifically for you — your website's design, content, and custom code — are yours. Suncoast retains ownership of its own pre-existing tools, frameworks, methods, and any third-party components, which remain subject to their respective licenses.

5. Your responsibilities

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to gain unauthorized access, disrupt the platform, reverse-engineer our systems, or use the service to violate any law or third-party rights.

7. Warranties & disclaimers

We deliver our services with professional care. Except as expressly stated in your agreement, the services and portal are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we do not guarantee specific business outcomes or uninterrupted, error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Suncoast will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services will not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the services in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may end an engagement as described in your project agreement. On termination, outstanding fees for work performed remain payable, and we will provide reasonable assistance to hand off your deliverables.

10. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's non-public information shared in the course of the engagement and use it only to perform under these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the effective date above and, for material changes, notify clients through the portal or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [STATE / JURISDICTION — confirm], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
